Alabama Picture Cars Teams Up with RentAHearse.com to Supply Authentic Hearses for Film and TV
Bringing Authentic Hearses to Alabama Productions
Alabama Picture Cars has formed a direct partnership with RentAHearse.com to give film, television, and commercial productions reliable access to period-correct modern and classic hearses right here in the state. Instead of shipping vehicles from out of state, crews can now source authentic rolling stock locally, saving time and keeping budgets focused on the story.
How the Collaboration Works
Through this arrangement, Alabama Picture Cars coordinates with RentAHearse.com to match productions with suitable hearses for scenes that require funeral processions, period settings, or dramatic reveals. The network covers both contemporary and vintage models, so whether a script calls for a 1960s Cadillac or a newer model, the right vehicle is already in or near Alabama and ready for camera.
Adding Vehicles to the National Database
Hearse owners who want to make their vehicles available for future work can list them at no cost on the USA Movie Cars national database. Once registered, the vehicles become visible to location managers, prop masters, and producers searching for specific makes and models across the country. Alabama Picture Cars encourages local owners to take this step so the state’s inventory continues to grow.
Maximizing Alabama Film Incentives
Alabama offers film tax credits and incentives that reward productions for spending money inside the state. Hiring local picture cars and local actors strengthens the case for higher credit percentages because the spend stays in Alabama rather than traveling elsewhere. Using resources coordinated through Alabama Picture Cars and the connected national networks helps productions document that local spend clearly and qualify for the maximum available benefit.
Why Local Resources Matter
Every day a hearse sits on a truck traveling to Alabama is a day of lost incentive qualification and added cost. Local vehicles arrive on time, require fewer permits for interstate transport, and often come with drivers who already know the area roads and regulations.
Connecting with Local Talent
Productions that also need performers should visit the Alabama Actors site. This platform links directly to the national database at USActors.com, giving casting teams a single place to find both background and principal talent already based in Alabama.
